Our programme in its participatory nature is based on co – creation between participants and Polish artists. COMIC BOOK WORKSHOP
3-day Comic Book workshop dedicated for both drawing and non-drawing people with no previous experience! During the workshop Mikołaj Tkacz will introduce the basics of how to make a comic and present the concept of comic medium.

We will learn to use comic language freely thanks to a set of exercises and collective reading which will all together guide us through the basics of the comic book creation process.
At the beginning of the workshops You will be introduced to the most important examples of Polish and European graphic novels. We will learn to use comic language freely thanks to a set of exercises and collective reading which will all together guide us through the basics of the comic book creation process. There will be classic european and american comic books presented such as „Persepolis” by Marjane Satrapi, ” The Rabbis’ Cat” by Joan Sfar, „Maus” by Art Spiegelman and others. Our focus will be to look closer at the relation of importance of the story and the graphic form.The theme of the workshop is the concept of nomadism, changing residence, being a stranger and getting used to the new living environment.
